Forklift Operator

At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Forklift Operator to work with a leading logistics company in Sparks. This role is essential for maintaining warehouse efficiency, ensuring that materials are moved safely and accurately throughout the facility using specialized equipment.

Shift Patterns

• Monday to Friday 8:00AM-4:30PM

Pay Rates

• 21.00 USD hourly

Essential Requirements for Forklift Operator

• Do you have experience operating stand-up reach trucks, order pickers, and walkie riders? Explain.
• Do you have previous knowledge of logistical supply chain methods?
• Have you operated pallet wrap machines, or other material handling equipment? If yes, which ones and for how long?
• Are you able to accurately read and understand work orders, count inventory, and locate products stored in different areas and levels within a warehouse?
• Are you able to lift/move 50 to 75 lbs throughout your shift when required?

Role for Forklift Operator

• Safely operate industrial trucks and machinery to transport materials throughout the warehouse.
• Inspect product loads for accuracy and ensure timely delivery within the facility.
• Manually or mechanically load and unload materials from pallets, skids, and boxes.
• Account for and secure materials or products for transport to designated areas.
• Control levers and operating devices, such as forks and hoists, to load, transport, and stack materials.
• Complete all requisitions with prompt, efficient, and safe outcomes.
