CNC Lathe Operator

At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a CNC Lathe Operator to work with a leading manufacturing company in Chesterfield. We are looking for a dedicated professional to join a great shop environment alongside a skilled team.

Shift Patterns

• Training Period: 11:30 AM – 8:00 PM (base rate + shift premium of $0.50)
• Regular 2nd shift: 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM following training period (base pay rate + shift premium of $1.00)

Pay Rates

• 19.00 - 21.00 USD hourly

Must-have requirements for CNC Lathe Operator

• More than 2 years of experience operating CNC lathes
• Ability to read calipers accurately
• Ability to work with metric measurements
• Job tenure of more than 2 years at past jobs
• GED or High School diploma

Role for CNC Lathe Operator

• Operate CNC Lathe equipment according to leader instructions
• Monitor the machining process to ensure proper operation and quality
• Perform machine start-up and end-of-shift procedures
• Change inserts as required and load/unload parts on stockers
• Verify conformance of machined and assembled parts to specifications using inspection gauges

Location: Chesterfield. This position is based in a professional shop environment.
