Forklift Operator

At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Forklift Operator to work with DMI Personal Care in Wharton. This role is essential for maintaining the efficiency of our warehouse operations, ensuring that materials are handled safely and inventory is managed accurately.

Shift Patterns

• 2nd Shift: 3pm to 11am, Monday through Friday

Pay Rates

• 18.00 USD hourly

Essential Requirements for Forklift Operator

• Valid certification to operate forklifts

Desirable Requirements for Forklift Operator

• Proven experience as a forklift operator
• Attention to detail and familiarity with industrial equipment
• Excellent physical condition and coordination
• High school diploma
• Strong communication skills, team player with a positive attitude, adaptable to changing priorities, problem-solving mindset, reliability, and punctuality

Role for Forklift Operator

• Unload materials and merchandise from incoming vehicles and stack them in assigned areas
• Locate and move stock of products to pallets or crates for storage or shipment
• Identify damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies
• Transport raw materials to production workstations
• Inspect machinery to determine the need for repairs and guarantee safety by performing regular maintenance
• Keep updated records of inventory and activity logs
• Comply with company policies and legal guidelines
• Help maintain a safe and orderly environment of the facilities
