Packer

At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Packer to work with a leading logistics company in Somers. You will play a critical part in order fulfillment—accurately picking items, securely packing products, verifying labels, and preparing goods for shipment in a fast-paced environment.

Shift Patterns

• 1st Shift: Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• 2nd Shift: Monday-Friday | 4:00 PM – 12:30 AM

Pay Rates

• 17.50 USD hourly (1st shift)
• 18.50 USD hourly (2nd shift)

Requirements

• Experience working in a warehouse (6+ months preferred).
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift up to 50 lbs consistently.
• Reliable transportation to and from the facility.
• Comfortable using handheld scanners and warehouse management tools.

Role

• Select items using RF handheld scanners or digital pick lists.
• Pack products securely into designated cartons according to specifications.
• Inspect products for damages or defects prior to packing.
• Print, verify, and apply accurate shipping labels and packing slips.
• Load, unload, sort, and stack boxes, pallets, or totes.
