System Designer

At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a System Designer to work with a leading company in the engineering sector in Auburn Hills. This role involves complex design work, requiring independent judgment and technical expertise in 3D modeling.

Shift Patterns

• Hours: 7:00/8:00 AM to 4:00/5:00 PM, based on overtime requirements.
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturdays if needed.
• Eligible to work from home 2 days per week after 90 days.

Pay Rates

• 29.00 - 39.00 USD hourly

Must-have requirements for System Designer

• 5 years of experience in Mechanical Design or a bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Proficiency in 3D software modeling.

Desirable requirements for System Designer

• Background in plastics injection design.
• Experience in the injection molding industry, including molds, tooling, machinery, processing, and repair.
• Proficiency in Solidworks and Microsoft products.

Role for System Designer

• Create detailed 3D models and technical drawings with section views and dimensions.
• Develop and maintain Bills of Materials.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure designs are manufacturable within expected parameters.
• Provide technical support to less experienced staff and perform quality checks on designs.
