Maintenance Tech

At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Maintenance Tech to work with Hyperion Craft Technologies in Elk Grove Village. This role supports the maintenance team with equipment disassembly, rack removal, material handling, and general mechanical tasks under the guidance of the Production and Project Managers.

Shift Patterns

• 1st Shift: 7:00am-3:30pm

Pay Rates

• 22.00 USD hourly

Essential Requirements for Maintenance Tech

• Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand tools.
• Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Current forklift certification or ability to qualify for certification.
• Basic computer skills, including data entry and spreadsheets.
• Ability to read and write simple work requests and reports.

Desirable Requirements for Maintenance Tech

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One to two years of mechanical experience.
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.

Role for Maintenance Tech

• Assist with disassembling and moving racks and cleaning work areas.
• Remove hoses, clamps, and other components as directed.
• Operate a forklift or other powered industrial equipment if qualified and authorized.
• Use ladders or stairs as needed to complete maintenance tasks.
• Follow all safety procedures and instructions provided by the maintenance team.
