Packer - Ocala

At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Packer to work with ID Logistics in Ocala. This role involves accurately packing, inspecting, labeling, and preparing products for storage or shipment in a warehouse environment, ensuring that all items are handled with care and meet quality standards.

Shift Patterns:

• Wed-Sat 7:00:00am-5:30:00pm (30-minute lunch break)

Pay Rates:

• 18.75 USD hourly

Essential Requirements for Packer:

• Ability to perform packing tasks accurately.
• Ability to follow packaging instructions and identify visible defects.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks while meeting quality standards.
• Ability to handle materials within the role's physical requirements.
• Reliable attendance and ability to work the assigned shift.

Desirable Requirements for Packer:

• Experience in packing, warehousing, distribution, or manufacturing.
• Experience with labeling, wrapping, and preparing shipments.
• Experience inspecting products and verifying quantities.
• Familiarity with barcode scanners or warehouse systems.
• Basic reading, writing, and math skills.
• Attention to detail.

Role for Packer:

• Pack products according to order specifications and packaging instructions.
• Inspect products for visible damage, defects, or discrepancies.
• Verify product identification and quantities and apply labels or protective materials.
• Prepare packages for shipment, storage, or transfer to the next stage of operations.
• Maintain an organized work area and follow safety and quality procedures.

Location: Ocala. This position is based in a dynamic warehouse environment.
