Forklift operator
At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Forklift operator to work with a leading company in the logistics sector in North Aurora. This role is vital for ensuring the safe and efficient movement of materials throughout the warehouse.
Shift Patterns
- Sunday to Thursday 6:00pm to 4:30am
- Tuesday to Saturday 6:00pm to 4:30am
Pay Rates
- 21.25 - 23.25 USD hourly
Requirements for Forklift operator
- More than 1 year of experience operating a forklift, specifically stand-up forklifts
- Experience with pallet wrap machines, reach trucks, and cherry pickers
- Knowledge of logistical supply chain methods and inventory control
- Ability to read and understand orders and count products accurately
- Must be able to lift and move up to 75 lbs throughout the shift
- Valid Driver License and dependable transportation
- Ability to work a full-time, flexible schedule
Role for Forklift operator
- Safely operate industrial trucks and machinery within the facility
- Inspect product loads for accuracy and ensure timely delivery
- Manually or mechanically load and unload materials from pallets, skids, and boxes
- Account for and secure materials for transport to designated areas
- Control levers and operating devices to load, transport, and stack materials efficiently
