At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Maintenance Technician 1 to work with a leading company in the manufacturing sector in Mooresville. This role involves performing a variety of skilled and semi-skilled maintenance, modification, and repair activities. You will be responsible for the preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of heavy industrial manufacturing equipment and facilities, working with PLC-controlled systems, pneumatic power, and electrical voltages up to 480 volts.

Shift Patterns

  • Schedules vary.
  • Night shift and weekend premiums are available.

Pay Rates

  • 25.16 - 26.91 USD hourly

Must-have requirements for Maintenance Technician 1

  • Ability to read and comprehend technical manuals.
  • Ability to work with high and low voltage, AC and DC.
  • Experience working effectively under the pressure of competing priorities.
  • Highly motivated, team player, and self-starter.
  • Experienced with hand and power tools.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.

Desirable requirements for Maintenance Technician 1

  • 2-4 years of experience with facility maintenance in a medium to large distribution center or manufacturing operation.
  • 2-4 years of experience working around conveyors, pneumatics, AC/DC motor skills, and industrial electrical systems.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment with a strong customer focus.
  • Strong communication skills to interact with co-workers and managers in a cooperative manner.
  • Knowledge of OSHA compliance is a plus.
  • Conversational Spanish skills are a plus.
