At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Shipping and Receiving Clerk to work with ID Logistics in Blue Springs. This role is essential for coordinating and documenting the movement of goods into and out of the facility, ensuring that all shipments are processed accurately and inventory records are maintained.

Shift Patterns

  • Friday-Sunday 7am-7pm

Pay Rates

  • 22.50 USD hourly

Essential Requirements for Shipping and Receiving Clerk

  • Experience in shipping, receiving, logistics administration, inventory control, or a similar role.
  • Basic computer skills, including data entry, email, and spreadsheets.
  • Ability to verify shipment details and maintain accurate records.
  • Strong organization and communication skills.
  • Reliable attendance and ability to work the assigned schedule.

Desirable Requirements for Shipping and Receiving Clerk

  • Experience with WMS, ERP, or transportation management systems.
  • Knowledge of bills of lading, packing lists, and freight documentation.
  • Experience with inventory control and cycle counting.
  • Experience coordinating carriers, pickups, deliveries, or shipment tracking.
  • Intermediate Excel skills or international shipping knowledge.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Organization and time management.
  • Clear professional communication.
  • Problem-solving and follow-through.
  • Reliability and teamwork.

Role for Shipping and Receiving Clerk

  • Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders, packing slips, and shipping documents.
  • Prepare outgoing shipments and ensure orders are accurately labeled and documented.
  • Maintain bills of lading, packing lists, delivery receipts, and shipment records.
  • Enter shipment and inventory data into warehouse management systems, ERP platforms, or databases.
  • Coordinate with carriers, drivers, suppliers, and warehouse teams to resolve discrepancies and support timely deliveries.
