Intro

At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Signage and Decor Packager to work with a leading company in the design and fabrication sector in Madison Heights. This role is essential for ensuring our custom signage and display materials reach clients in perfect condition.

Shift Patterns

• 1st Shift: 9am to 6:30pm Monday - Friday
• Overtime available on Saturday during peak season

Pay Rates

• 18.00 USD hourly

Must-have Requirements

• Experience with hand and power tools (drill, nailer, stapler, tape gun)
• Over one year of packaging experience with non-steel and non-metal parts
• 1-2 years of packaging experience outside the automotive industry
• Ability to read and understand tape measurements accurately
• Proficiency in building and constructing custom boxes for signage
• Experience in properly wrapping and packaging finished custom signage
• Ability to safely load and unload trucks for transport

Desirable Requirements

• Material handling skills for safely moving custom signage
• Protective wrapping and padding techniques to prevent scratches or breakage
• Attention to detail and quality control
• Ability to follow written instructions and packaging standards

Role

• Prepare signage, decor pieces, and display materials for shipment
• Verify order accuracy, finish quality, and labeling against order sheets
• Wrap and secure items to prevent damage during transit
• Maintain a clean and organized packing area
• Communicate with production, printing, and shipping teams to meet deadlines
