Production Workers

At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for Production Workers to work with DMC Service Group in Detroit. This is a hands-on position within a busy welding and fabrication shop, ideal for someone who wants to learn the metal fabrication trade.

Shift Patterns

• 6:00am to 2:30pm

Pay Rates

• 14.00 USD hourly

Essential Requirements for Production Workers

• Work boots are required for this position.
• Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times and follow all OSHA and company safety rules.

Role for Production Workers

• Clean, deburr, grind, and prep metal pieces using hand tools, angle grinders, and power saws before and after welding.
• Load, unload, move, and stack steel, aluminum, and other raw metals safely using carts and hand trucks.
• Sweep floors, empty scrap metal bins, dispose of used consumables, and keep walkways clear of debris and safety hazards.
• Assist with daily basic equipment checks, organize tooling, and stage materials at individual welding stations.
