Facilities General Labor
At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Facilities General Labor Associate to work with AAM Metal Forming - FW in Fort Wayne, IN. This role supports the cleanliness, maintenance, and safe operation of a manufacturing facility, ensuring that equipment and work areas remain in top condition.
Shift Patterns
- Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, with potential overtime.
Pay Rates
- 18.00 USD hourly
Must-have requirements for Facilities General Labor
- Do you have hands-on manufacturing or industrial experience with equipment cleaning, preventive maintenance, coolant management, or facility upkeep?
- Do you have forklift experience transporting materials in a warehouse or manufacturing facility and experience operating industrial floor scrubbers or similar equipment?
- Are you comfortable working around machinery, oils, and coolants, safely cleaning industrial spills, lifting up to 50 lbs., and performing physical work throughout your shift?
Desirable requirements for Facilities General Labor
- Previous manufacturing or industrial facility experience
- Experience with industrial cleaning or general labor
- Familiarity with coolants, lubricants, and hydraulic fluids
- Experience operating industrial floor scrubbers
- Basic preventive maintenance experience

Role for Facilities General Labor
- Monitor, maintain, and document coolant, hydraulic oil, and lubricant levels in manufacturing equipment.
- Perform basic preventive maintenance, lubrication, cleaning, and routine equipment inspections.
- Clean and maintain coolant tanks, drip pans, pumps, reservoirs, and filtration systems.
- Operate industrial floor scrubbers, trash compactors, and cleaning equipment.
- Operate a forklift to transport materials, supplies, and equipment as needed.
