Forklift Operator

At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Forklift Operator to work with a leading company in the apparel industry in Southaven. This role involves safely and efficiently moving materials throughout the warehouse to ensure timely and accurate delivery.

Shift Patterns

• Thursday - Saturday, 5:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Mandatory OT)
• Every other Wednesday

Pay Rates

• 22.00 USD hourly

Essential Requirements

• Knowledge of Logistical Supply Chain methods and inventory control.
• Previous experience operating a forklift.
• Experience with pallet wrap machines, reach trucks, cherry pickers, and other material handling equipment.
• Ability to read and understand orders and count different products stored in various areas.
• Must be able to work a full-time, flexible schedule.
• Must have dependable transportation to and from the job site.
• Must be able to lift and move up to 75 lbs. throughout the shift when necessary.

Role Responsibilities

• Safely operate industrial trucks and machinery within the facility.
• Inspect product loads for accuracy and ensure timely delivery.
• Manually or mechanically load and unload materials from pallets, skids, and boxes.
• Account for and secure materials or products for transport to designated areas.
• Control levers and operating devices, such as forks and hoists, to load, transport, and stack materials.
• Complete all requisitions with prompt, efficient, and safe outcomes.
