Intro

At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Pre-Weigher to work with DMI Skilled in Wharton. This role is essential for supporting production by accurately preparing raw materials for cosmetic and OTC product manufacturing, ensuring quality, safety, and inventory accuracy.

Shift Patterns

• 1st Shift: 7am to 5pm (M-F with some OT on Saturday when required)
• 2nd Shift: 3pm to 11pm (M-F with some OT on Saturday when required)
• 3rd Shift: 11pm to 7am (M-F with some OT on Saturday when required)

Pay Rates

• 18.00 - 19.00 USD hourly

Essential Requirements for Pre-Weigher

• More than 1 year of experience weighing, dispensing, or handling raw materials in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
• Ability to accurately measure materials, follow batch records, and complete production documentation.
• More than 1 year of experience working in a GMP, food, pharmaceutical, cosmetic, or other regulated manufacturing environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., stand for extended periods, and work around powders, fragrances, and raw materials while wearing required PPE.
• Must have hilo or forklift experience.

Desirable Requirements for Pre-Weigher

• More than 1 year of experience using ERP, inventory management, or warehouse management systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, etc.).
• More than 1 year of experience performing inventory transactions, cycle counts, or maintaining material traceability.
• Basic knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), Good Documentation Practices (GDP), or FDA-regulated manufacturing environments.
• High school diploma or GED.

Role for Pre-Weigher

• Accurately weigh and dispense raw materials per batch records and production schedules.
• Verify material identity, lot numbers, quantities, and expiration dates before use.
• Label, stage, and organize materials for production.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and report any discrepancies.
• Clean and maintain weighing equipment and work areas.
