At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Sr Assembly Builder to work with a leading manufacturer of automated production machine systems in Auburn Hills. This role is essential for building complex systems from start to finish.

Shift Patterns

• Monday to Friday, 2nd shift hours: 5:30pm to 2/3am, based on overtime
• Average hours: 45-56 hours per week

Pay Rates

• 27.00 - 28.00 USD hourly

Must-have requirements for Sr Assembly Builder

• More than 3 years of mechanical assembly experience
• More than 1 year of experience with hydraulic and/or pneumatic systems
• Ability to read basic blueprints
• Ability to read measuring gages such as micrometers, calipers etc.
• Ability to use hand tools such as hammer, hex key wrenches, torque wrenches etc
• Demonstrated strong mechanical aptitude
• Tenure of past jobs of more than 2 years

Desirable requirements for Sr Assembly Builder

• Ability to operate crane or forklift

Role for Sr Assembly Builder

• Assist in building hydraulic and pneumatic systems for plastic injection molding
• Assemble tubular electric heaters and nozzle assemblies for plastic manifold systems
• Hone and plug manifolds, assemble manifolds, and perform wiring
• Assemble nozzles to manifolds and solder wires to heating elements
• Use temperature controllers to ensure systems conform to blueprints
• Perform deburring and die/tap work using hand and air tools
