Formation Associate

At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Formation Associate to work with Clarios, LLC in Fort Wayne. This role is essential for our battery manufacturing operations, focusing on safety, quality, and productivity in a fast-paced environment.

Shift Patterns

  • Rotating 2-2-3 schedule, 12-hour shifts, 5:00 AM–5:30 PM or 5:00 PM–5:30 AM
  • Every other weekend required
  • Overtime as needed based on production requirements

Pay Rates

  • 22.27 USD hourly

Must-have requirements for Formation Associate

  • Are you able to work a rotating 2-2-3 schedule, including 12-hour shifts, every other weekend, and overtime as needed?
  • Are you able to repeatedly lift, push, pull, and move up to 50 pounds throughout a 12-hour shift?
  • Do you have at least one year of experience in a manufacturing, production, warehouse, or similar industrial environment?
  • Are you comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with exposure to heat, noise, and moving equipment?
  • Do you have basic computer skills and feel comfortable entering production information into a computer system?

Role for Formation Associate

  • Move batteries from pallets onto conveyor systems and maintain production flow.
  • Remove jumper cables and sort shipping dunnage and production materials.
  • Install in-process and final caps according to work instructions.
  • Operate battery acid-filling equipment while following safety procedures.
  • Inspect batteries for physical defects and complete process and quality checks.
  • Use manual OCV meters to verify battery quality and specifications.
  • Enter production information into computer systems and verify charging specifications.
  • Use small hand tools and follow standard operating procedures.
  • Participate in team problem-solving and continuous improvement activities.
  • Maintain clean, organized workstations using 5S standards.

Location: Fort Wayne, IN. Fast-paced battery manufacturing facility with exposure to heat, noise, industrial machinery, and battery materials.

Duration: Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire. Associates may be considered for direct hire after a minimum of 90 days, based on business needs, attendance, safety, productivity, and performance.
