Cherry Picker - Ocala

Introduction

At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Cherry Picker to work with ID Logistics in Ocala. We are seeking a dedicated and skilled individual to join our team in a fast-paced warehouse environment, responsible for efficiently operating equipment to retrieve and transport materials.

Shift Patterns

• Wed-Sat 7:00:00pm-5:30:00am (30-minute lunch break)

Pay Rates

• 21.50 USD hourly

Requirements

• Proven experience operating Cherry Pickers
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs. during shift when necessary
• Forklift experience (must be comfortable with heights)
• Note: We are not accepting re-hires for this position if you have previously worked for ID Logistics through Job&Talent, Freight Breakers, or Balance Staffing

Skills and Qualifications

• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented setting while also being self-motivated
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy in order fulfillment
• Familiar with order picking processes and materials handling best practices
• Must adhere to OSHA regulations for warehouse safety
• Previous warehouse experience

Role Responsibilities

• Operate cherry picker equipment safely and efficiently to pick orders from high shelving units
• Assist in the loading and unloading of materials using forklifts and pallet jacks
• Perform order picking tasks accurately, ensuring that items are selected according to specifications
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to OSHA safety standards
• Conduct routine inspections of equipment, reporting any maintenance needs or safety concerns
