At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Tool & Die Maker to work with a leading manufacturing company in Rochester Hills. This is a brand new operation, and we are looking for a skilled professional to take charge, establish set-up procedures, and drive continuous improvement.

Shift Patterns

• Monday to Friday, 6am to 3pm
• Availability for overtime or Saturdays as needed

Pay Rates

• 29.00 - 33.00 USD hourly

Must-have Requirements for Tool & Die Maker

• More than 5 years experience with Die Build or Die Retrofit
• More than 3 years experience with small tonnage metal stamping dies
• Ability to read blueprints
• Ability to read various types of gages
• Ability to assemble and disassemble metal stamping dies

Desirable Requirements for Tool & Die Maker

• Strong communication skills
• Excellent attendance record

Role for Tool & Die Maker

• Perform maintenance, cleaning, inspection, and sharpening of punches and dies
• Operate tool room machinery including surface grinders, mills, lathes, and saws
• Use precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions and clearances
• Strip out and set up tooling using an arbor press
• Mentor and share technical expertise with the current tooling team
