Manual Welder

At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Manual Welder to work with Watson Engineering Skilled in Taylor. We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our production team, responsible for performing high-quality welds on various metal components using manual techniques while ensuring structural integrity, accuracy, and adherence to project specifications.

Shift Patterns

• Monday - Friday 7:00am to 3:30pm (Some Saturdays included based on workload)

Pay Rates

• 20.00 - 22.00 USD hourly

Essential Requirements for Manual Welder

• Must have manual welding experience
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Proficiency in MIG or Stick welding
• Strong attention to detail and ability to read a tape measure accurately
• Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and work safely in a manufacturing environment

Desirable Requirements for Manual Welder

• Experience with multiple welding processes and familiarity with fabrication or metal finishing
• Comfort reading advanced blueprints and strong mechanical aptitude
• Experience working in a fast-paced production environment
• Ability to troubleshoot minor equipment issues

Role for Manual Welder

• Perform high-quality welding operations on various metal components
• Read and interpret technical drawings and weld symbols
• Prepare materials by measuring and cutting as required
• Inspect completed work for quality and compliance with project specifications
• Maintain a safe and clean workspace in a manufacturing environment

Location: Taylor. This position is based in a manufacturing environment that involves heat, sparks, and noise.
