Quality Inspector

At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Quality Inspector to work with a leading metal stamping manufacturer in Marine City. This role is essential for maintaining high standards, as you will be responsible for examining incoming materials, first-piece setups, and in-process stamped parts to ensure they match exact engineering specifications and customer blueprints.

Shift Schedule

• Monday through Friday 5pm to 3:30am with overtime as needed

Pay Rates

• 17.50 USD hourly

Essential Requirements for Quality Inspector

• At least 1 year of experience as a Quality Inspector with metal parts

Key Responsibilities for Quality Inspector

• Conduct receiving, first-piece, in-process, setup, and final inspections on stamped metal parts and welded assemblies
• Measure tolerances using precision equipment like calipers, micrometers, height gauges, pin gauges, and optical comparators
• Identify, tag, segregate, and document defective or suspect parts according to standard company protocols
• Record inspection data accurately, complete quality logs, and track lot compliance
• Communicate quality concerns directly with machine operators, production supervisors, and the toolroom to resolve stamping issues
