At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Warehouse Agent - Receiving to work with a leading logistics company in Ellenwood. This role is essential for maintaining the efficiency of a fast-paced logistics operation, ensuring that freight is handled safely, accurately, and on time.

Shift Patterns

  • 1st Shift: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Monday - Friday)

Pay Rates

  • 22.00 USD hourly

Essential Requirements for Warehouse Agent - Receiving

  • At least 2 years of recent warehouse, freight, logistics, or distribution experience.
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience operating both sit-down and stand-up forklifts.
  • Experience loading and unloading trailers.
  • Ability to read manifests, delivery orders, labels, and work instructions.
  • Basic computer, email, data-entry, and warehouse system skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lb and stand, walk, bend, twist, and reach throughout the shift.
  • Reliable transportation and consistent attendance.

Desirable Requirements for Warehouse Agent - Receiving

  • Current forklift certification is preferred.
  • Previous receiving experience or experience in freight forwarding, air cargo, transportation, cross-dock, or third-party logistics.
  • Experience handling palletized and floor-loaded freight.
  • Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
  • Reliable and dependable with a strong sense of urgency.
  • Ability to identify and report damage or discrepancies accurately.
  • Team player who can coordinate effectively with warehouse and office teams.

Role Responsibilities for Warehouse Agent - Receiving

  • Safely receive, process, and store freight within the warehouse environment.
  • Load and unload trailers efficiently while maintaining safety standards.
  • Verify piece counts and shipping documents against physical cargo.
  • Receive, label, weigh, measure, photograph, and process cargo accurately.
  • Enter shipment and inventory updates into warehouse systems.
  • Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment safely.
