General Labor/ Warehouse Associate
At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a General Labor/ Warehouse Associate to work with a leading logistics and distribution facility in North Aurora, IL. In this versatile role, you will perform a variety of essential manual tasks to ensure daily operations run smoothly in a fast-paced environment.
Shift Patterns:
- Monday to Friday, 5:00 PM - 1:30 AM
Pay Rates:
- 20.00 - 21.00 USD hourly
Essential Requirements for General Labor/ Warehouse Associate:
- Experience working in a warehouse environment
- Ability to stand, walk, push, pull, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs continuously across an 8–10 hour shift
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to perform varied day-to-day warehouse duties and work overtime or weekend shifts during peak operational demands
Role for General Labor/ Warehouse Associate:
- Manually load and unload freight, raw materials, and finished goods from trailers, containers, and delivery trucks
- Sort, stack, and secure items onto pallets and utilize shrink wrap to prep goods safely for transport or storage
- Assist with basic assembly, ticketing, kitting, or rework tasks as assigned by supervisory staff
- Move inventory throughout the facility using manual or electric pallet jacks and stage stock in designated warehouse bays
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment by sweeping aisles and disposing of trash
