Forklift operator
At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Forklift operator to work with ACCO Brands in Booneville. This role is essential for maintaining the efficiency of our warehouse operations, ensuring that materials are moved safely and accurately throughout the facility.
Shift patterns
- Stock 2nd shift 2:30 with up to 2 hours of overtime daily, if needed Monday - Friday, occasionally Saturday
Pay rates
- 16.26 USD hourly
Essential requirements for Forklift operator
- Previous Forklift experience
- Experience with pallet wrap machines, reach trucks, cherry pickers and other material handling equipment
- Ability to read and understand orders and count different products stored in different areas and layers
- Must be able to work a full-time but flexible schedule
- Must have dependable transportation to and from job site
- Must be able to lift and move up to 75 lbs. throughout the shift when necessary
Skills requirements for Forklift operator
- 3+ years of continuous experience operating material handling equipment in high-volume warehouse environments
- Experience working in high-bay or high-density storage facilities
Role for Forklift operator
- Safely operate industrial trucks or machinery in an industrial location
- Inspect product load for accuracy and safely move product through facility ensuring timely and accurate delivery
- Manually or mechanically load and unload materials from pallets, skids and boxes
- Account for and secure materials or products for transport to designated areas
- Control levers and other operating devices, such as forks and hoists, to load, transport and stack materials
- Complete all requisitions with prompt, efficient and safe outcomes
