Inspectors

At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for Inspectors to work with a leading company in industrial services in Harper Woods. A Part Quality Inspector examines manufactured vehicle components, assemblies, and raw materials to ensure they meet strict quality, safety, and engineering specifications before moving to the next stage of production or assembly.

Shift Patterns

• 4:00am to 2:30pm
• Monday to Friday

Pay Rates

• 16.00 USD hourly

Essential Requirements for Inspectors

• Some inspection work experience would be a plus.

Core Responsibilities for Inspectors

• Perform visual and physical checks on automotive parts to identify surface defects, cracks, burrs, warping, or dimensional discrepancies.
• Use specialized measurement tools such as digital calipers, micrometers, height gauges, dial indicators, and optical comparators to verify tolerances.
• Compare finished or in-process components against blueprint schematics, CAD models, and technical data sheets.
• Log inspection results, fill out quality control tracking sheets, and record pass/fail data in company software or databases.
• Tag, isolate, and report non-conforming or defective parts to prevent them from entering the supply chain or assembly line.
• Collaborate with machine operators, production supervisors, and quality engineers to troubleshoot root causes of part failures and recommend process improvements.
• Perform routine checks and maintenance on measurement instruments to ensure ongoing reading accuracy.
