Deburr

At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Deburr Operator to work with a leading manufacturing company in Waukegan. This role is essential for finishing and preparing manufactured parts by removing excess material, sharp edges, and imperfections using hand tools and grinding equipment. We are looking for candidates who are comfortable with heavy lifting, standing for extended periods, and working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high quality and safety standards.

Shift Patterns

• Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays: 12-hour shift from 5:00 AM to 5:30 PM

Pay Rates

• 17.00 USD hourly

Essential Requirements for Deburr

• Previous deburring, grinding, manufacturing, or hand tool experience preferred
• Ability to lift heavy materials
• Strong focus on quality and safety
• Ability to follow detailed work instructions

Desirable Requirements for Deburr

• Previous experience in a manufacturing, fabrication, or metalworking environment
• Familiarity with grinding equipment, hand tools, deburring processes, and quality inspection practices
• Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude

Responsibilities for Deburr

• Inspect parts for defects and quality concerns
• Perform deburring and finishing processes according to work instructions
• Safely operate tools and equipment
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
