At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for an Assembly Tech to work with a leading manufacturer of automated production systems in Auburn Hills. This role is essential for building high-quality systems for plastic injection molding machines.

Shift Patterns

• Monday to Friday, 7am to 4pm, with required overtime.
• Average of 45-50 hours per week.

Pay Rates

• 23.00 - 23.50 USD hourly

Requirements for Assembly Tech

• More than 1 year of mechanical assembly experience
• Ability to read basic blueprints or work instructions
• Ability to read measuring gauges such as micrometers and calipers
• Ability to use hand tools such as hammers, hex key wrenches, and torque wrenches
• Demonstrated strong mechanical aptitude
• Proven tenure in past roles of more than 1-2 years

Role for Assembly Tech

• Assist in building systems for plastic injection molding machines
• Assemble tubular electric heaters and nozzle assemblies for manifold systems
• Hone and plug manifolds, perform wiring, and solder heating elements
• Use temperature controllers to ensure systems conform to blueprints
• Perform deburring, tapping, and die work using hand and air tools

Physical Requirements for Assembly Tech

• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 pounds
• Perform repetitive hand and arm movements throughout the shift
• Adherence to safety protocols, including wearing required PPE
