Stand Up Forklift Operator

At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Stand Up Forklift Operator to work with a leading company in the manufacturing sector in New Albany. The Stand-Up Forklift Operator will support warehouse operations by safely loading and unloading trailers, transporting materials, and maintaining inventory accuracy. The ideal candidate will have previous stand-up forklift experience, strong attention to safety, and the ability to work in a fast-paced distribution environment.

Shift Patterns

  • 2nd Shift: Mon–Fri 2:30 pm to 10:30 pm. There may be mandatory overtime each week.

Pay Rates

  • 24.50 USD hourly

Must-have requirements for Stand Up Forklift Operator

  • Minimum 1 year of stand-up forklift experience required.
  • Experience loading and unloading trailers within the last six months required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
  • Reliable attendance and ability to work overtime when required.

Desirable requirements for Stand Up Forklift Operator

  • Experience using RF scanners preferred.

Role for Stand Up Forklift Operator

  • Operate a stand-up forklift safely and efficiently.
  • Load and unload inbound and outbound trailers.
  • Move raw materials, packaging, and finished goods throughout the facility.
  • Verify product counts and inspect shipments for damage.
  • Utilize RF scanners and warehouse systems to track inventory movements.
  • Stage materials for production and shipping departments.
  • Perform daily forklift inspections and report equipment issues.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Follow all company safety policies and GMP standards.

Location: New Albany. The position is based in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures.
