CNC Operator

At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a CNC Operator to work with Rassey Skilled in Shelby Twp. This is an entry-level position within an automotive metal-parts manufacturing environment, focusing on the operation and maintenance of CNC machinery to ensure high-quality production standards.

Shift Patterns

  • 1st shift: 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday–Friday.
  • Some overtime available when workload requires it.

Pay Rates

  • 18.00 USD hourly

Essential Requirements for CNC Operator

  • Must have willingness to learn SOPs: Able to follow standard operating, inspection, and reporting procedures with consistency.
  • Must have flexibility to move between machines: Comfortable rotating to any assigned CNC machine and handling parts continuously.
  • Must have strong attendance and punctuality: Must have reliable presence and on-time performance to support production schedules.
  • Must have ability to perform basic in-process inspections: Capable of learning and using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gages.

Skills Requirements for CNC Operator

  • CNC operating experience
  • Reading gauges, calipers, and micrometers
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Role Responsibilities for CNC Operator

  • Load and unload parts while monitoring machine performance for quality assurance.
  • Perform routine machine maintenance, including clearing chips, maintaining coolant levels, and lubrication.
  • Conduct in-process inspections using precision measuring tools like dial gages, bore gages, and micrometers.
  • Maintain accurate production records, including machine settings, materials used, and inspection results.
  • Participate in 5S activities to maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work environment.
  • Follow all safety protocols, including the proper use of required personal protective equipment.

Location: Shelby Twp. This role is based in a manufacturing facility.
