At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Forklift operator to work with a leading logistics company in North Aurora. This role is essential for maintaining the efficiency of our warehouse operations, ensuring that materials are moved safely and accurately to support timely deliveries.

Shift patterns

Sunday to Thursday 6:00pm to 4:30am
Tuesday to Saturday 6:00pm to 4:30am

Pay rates

23.00 - 25.00 USD hourly

Essential requirements for Forklift operator

Knowledge of Logistical Supply Chain methods and inventory control
Previous experience with stand up forklifts (more than 1 year required)
Experience with pallet wrap machines, reach trucks, cherry pickers, and other material handling equipment
Ability to read and understand orders and count different products stored in different areas and layers
Must be able to lift and move up to 75 lbs. throughout the shift when necessary
Valid Driver License
Must have dependable transportation to and from the job site
Must be able to work a full-time but flexible schedule

Role for Forklift operator

Safely operate industrial trucks and machinery within the facility
Inspect product loads for accuracy and ensure timely delivery
Manually or mechanically load and unload materials from pallets, skids, and boxes
Account for and secure materials or products for transport to designated areas
Control levers and operating devices, such as forks and hoists, to load, transport, and stack materials
Complete all requisitions with prompt, efficient, and safe outcomes

Location: North Aurora. This position is based in a busy industrial facility.
