General Labor

At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a General Labor position to work with a leading manufacturing company in Waukegan. This role involves hands-on production tasks, including processing laser-cut parts and maintaining quality standards in a fast-paced shop environment.

Shift Patterns

• Monday through Thursday, 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with potential overtime on Fridays.

Pay Rates

• 17.00 USD hourly

Essential Requirements for General Labor

• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to work in a shop environment with loud noise levels.
• Ability to adhere to safety protocols, including wearing required personal protective equipment.
• Compliance with dress code requirements, including steel-toe boots and appropriate work pants.

Role for General Labor

• Remove and break parts out of laser-cut sheets.
• Use a variety of hand tools and power equipment to remove excess material or burrs from surfaces.
• Sharpen edges or corners as needed to meet quality specifications.
• Report production quantities accurately into the ERP system.

Location: Waukegan. The work environment is a shop setting that is not temperature-controlled, meaning it can be warmer in the summer and cooler in the winter.
