Maintenance Tech
At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Maintenance Tech to work with Winn Residential - Autumn Ridge Village in Sterling Heights. This role is essential for ensuring our residential community remains safe, functional, and welcoming for all residents.

- 8:00am to 5:00pm
Pay Rates
- 17.00 USD hourly
Essential Requirements for Maintenance Tech
- Tech I requires under 1 year of experience, while Tech II requires 1–3 years of facilities experience.
- Foundational technical knowledge in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and appliances.
- Basic digital literacy and English communication skills.
Desirable Requirements for Maintenance Tech
- Trade school training, CAMT certification, or EPA/HVAC credentials.
- Must be open to on-call and rotating schedule.
Role for Maintenance Tech
- Diagnose and repair issues with appliances, carpentry, hardware accessories, masonry, painting, basic electrical, basic plumbing, and basic HVAC.
- Complete assigned resident and site work orders in a timely manner according to company operating procedures.
- Prepare vacant apartments so they are clean, safe, and market-ready for new tenant move-ins.
- Conduct scheduled building and safety inspections, preventive maintenance, and annual unit checks.
- Maintain outdoor areas through landscaping, trash management, and snow removal.
