Material Handler
At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Material Handler to work with Northampton Talent Pool in Northampton. This role involves performing a variety of warehouse and general labor duties to support daily operations, including receiving, processing, storing, and shipping products. You will play a key role in maintaining an efficient and organized warehouse environment.
Shift Patterns
- Sun-Wed 6am-4:30pm
- Wed-Sat 6am-4:30pm
- Mon-Fri 5pm-1:30am
- Must be available for overtime during peak season or when needed
Pay Rates
- 17.50 - 18.50 USD hourly
Essential Requirements for Material Handler
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift
- Ability to lift and move materials according to the position's physical requirements
- Basic reading, counting, and math skills
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Strong teamwork, communication, and time-management skills
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Willingness to follow safety policies and meet productivity and quality expectations
Role for Material Handler
- Load and unload trucks and move materials throughout the facility
- Pick, pack, and process orders while scanning barcodes and labeling merchandise
- Palletize and wrap shipments for distribution
- Maintain accurate inventory by verifying quantities and inspecting merchandise for damage
- Organize and store products in designated locations while maintaining a clean work area
Location: Northampton. This position is based in a local warehouse facility.
