Forklift operator

At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Forklift Operator to work with a leading company in the logistics and distribution sector in Olive Branch. This role is essential for maintaining the safe and efficient flow of materials throughout the warehouse.

Shift:

• Kaz-Inventory 1st Shift: Monday - Friday 5:00am - 1:30pm

Pay Rates:

• 17.50 USD hourly

Essential Requirements for Forklift Operator:

• Previous forklift experience and knowledge of logistical supply chain methods and inventory control.
• Proficiency with material handling equipment, including pallet wrap machines, reach trucks, and cherry pickers.
• Ability to read and understand orders while accurately counting products stored in various areas.
• Must be able to work a full-time, flexible schedule.
• Must have dependable transportation to and from the job site.
• Ability to lift and move up to 75 lbs. throughout the shift.

Desirable Requirements for Forklift Operator:

• Ability to operate other types of warehouse equipment.

Role for Forklift Operator:

• Safely operate industrial trucks and machinery within the facility.
• Inspect product loads for accuracy and ensure timely delivery.
• Manually or mechanically load and unload materials from pallets, skids, and boxes.
• Account for and secure materials or products for transport to designated areas.
• Control levers and operating devices, such as forks and hoists, to load, transport, and stack materials.
• Complete all requisitions with prompt, efficient, and safe outcomes.
