At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Machine Builder/Machinist to work with a leading manufacturing company in Chesterfield. This full-time, day-shift role is perfect for a detail-oriented professional with strong mechanical and machining expertise.

Shift Patterns

• 6:00AM to 4:30PM Monday thru Friday
• Overtime available on Saturday when required

Pay Rates

• 25.00 - 30.00 USD hourly

Essential Requirements for Machine Builder/Machinist

• Must have machining experience: Proven ability to operate mills, lathes, and precision machining equipment.
• Must have machine-building skills: Hands-on experience assembling, fitting, and building mechanical components.
• Must have mechanical aptitude: Strong understanding of mechanical systems, tools, and fabrication processes.
• Must have blueprint reading ability: Ability to interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
• Must have reliable attendance: Consistent dependability for full-time day shift with overtime.

Desirable Requirements for Machine Builder/Machinist

• CNC experience: Familiarity with CNC mills or lathes for precision machining.
• Hydraulics/pneumatics knowledge: Understanding of basic fluid power systems used in machine builds.
• Electrical troubleshooting: Ability to assist with wiring, sensors, or machine controls.
• Welding ability: MIG/TIG welding skills for fabrication or repair work.
• Mechanical assembly experience: Experience assembling complex mechanical systems or tooling.
• Advanced blueprint interpretation: Ability to read more advanced mechanical drawings or GD&T.
• Mechanical troubleshooting: Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues during builds.
