At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for an Automation Technician to work with Aludyne - Pierceton in Pierceton. This role is responsible for developing, enhancing, programming, troubleshooting, and implementing automation systems and machinery, ensuring the seamless integration of robotics, PLCs, and electrical design.

Shift Patterns

• Monday through Friday, 10:45 PM to 7:00 AM

Pay Rates

• 70000.00 - 85000.00 USD hourly

Essential Requirements for Automation Technician

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
• 5-10 years of automation systems experience
• Strong knowledge of Fanuc FAPT Ladder II & III, PLC programming, AutoCAD, and robotics
• Experience with networking protocols (Ethernet, ControlNet, DeviceNet, Profibus, Serial, DH+)
• Proficiency in Allen Bradley PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, and Servo controls
• Mechanical design experience with SolidWorks is a plus

Desirable Requirements for Automation Technician

• Training, CNC and PLC programming, motion control programming, operator interface programming and fault recovery, robotic, vision and facility systems programming and implementation
• Troubleshooting, Engineering, integration, programming of automated systems
• Works with Quality in the implementation of defect detection and scrap reduction
• Updates existing systems as required

Role for Automation Technician

• Develop, debug, and implement automation systems
• Troubleshoot and program PC/PLC logic, servo motion, and HMI displays
• Design and integrate robotic systems, including Fanuc FAPT Ladder II & III programming
• Create electrical panels, wiring diagrams, and system layouts using AutoCAD
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and industry safety standards
