Forklift operator
At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Forklift operator to work with Radial in Avon. This role is essential for maintaining the safe and efficient flow of materials throughout the warehouse, ensuring that all products are handled with precision and care.
Shift Patterns
- Tuesday through Saturday from 7:00 P.M. to 5:30 A.M. (Associates will work on day shift until 11/23, 8:00 A.M. to 4:30 P.M.)
Pay Rates
- 19.00 - 21.00 USD hourly
Essential Requirements for Forklift operator
- Knowledge of Logistical Supply Chain methods and inventory control with previous Forklift experience
- Experience with pallet wrap machines, reach trucks, cherry pickers, and other material handling equipment
- Ability to read and understand orders and count different products stored in different areas and layers
- Must be able to work a full-time but flexible schedule
- Must have dependable transportation to and from the job site
- Must be able to lift and move up to 75 lbs. throughout the shift when necessary
Role for Forklift operator
- Safely operate industrial trucks or machinery in an industrial location
- Inspect product loads for accuracy and safely move products through the facility ensuring timely delivery
- Manually or mechanically load and unload materials from pallets, skids, and boxes
- Account for and secure materials or products for transport to designated areas
- Control levers and other operating devices, such as forks and hoists, to load, transport, and stack materials
- Complete all requisitions with prompt, efficient, and safe outcomes
