Compounder
At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Compounder to work with DMI Skilled in Wharton. This role is essential for the production of cosmetic and OTC drug products, ensuring all processes meet strict quality and safety standards.
Shift Patterns
- 3rd Shift: 11pm to 7am
- 2nd Shift: 3pm to 11pm
Pay Rates
- 29.00 - 31.00 USD hourly
Essential Requirements for Compounder
- More than 2 years of experience in cosmetic compounding in an FDA-regulated environment.
- More than 2 years of experience weighing, dispensing, and compounding raw materials for cosmetic products.
- More than 2 years of operating mixing, blending, or compounding equipment.
- Understanding of compliance with cGMP and Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
Skills Requirements for Compounder
- Technical knowledge and basic understanding of cGMP and GDP requirements, including 21 CFR Parts 210 & 211.
- Familiarity with Cosmetic GMP guidelines (ISO 22716).
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and batch records accurately.
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability for mixing equipment like tanks, kettles, and homogenizers.
Role Responsibilities for Compounder
- Weigh and dispense raw materials according to batch records while verifying material identity and lot numbers.
- Operate and monitor mixing and compounding equipment, ensuring adherence to mixing times, temperatures, and processing parameters.
- Complete manufacturing documentation accurately in real time, following Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and ALCOA+ principles.
- Maintain compliance with cGMP requirements, safety procedures, and PPE standards throughout the production process.
- Collaborate effectively with QA, QC, and Warehouse teams to support process improvements and audit activities.
Location
Wharton. This position is based on-site in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
