GL Material Handler

At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a GL Material Handler to work with a leading logistics company in Northampton. We are seeking dependable and hardworking individuals to support daily warehouse and production operations. This role involves moving materials, loading and unloading products, counting inventory, maintaining quality standards, and performing general labor tasks to ensure efficient operations.

Shift Patterns:

  • Monday to Friday 5:00pm to 1:30am
  • Must be available for Overtime when needed

Pay Rates:

  • 18.50 USD hourly

Essential Requirements for GL Material Handler:

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly throughout the shift.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, push, pull, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
  • Ability to accurately count products and maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Basic math and measurement skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse or production environment.
  • Strong commitment to safety, quality, and productivity standards.
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Authorization to work in the United States.

Desirable Requirements for GL Material Handler:

  • Previous warehouse, manufacturing, production, or general labor experience.
  • Experience using RF scanners or warehouse management systems.
  • Forklift, pallet jack, or material handling equipment experience.
  • Inventory counting or quality inspection experience.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Experience loading and unloading trailers or containers.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Dependable and self-motivated.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Adaptability and flexibility to support different tasks and departments.
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe and productive work environment.

Role for GL Material Handler:

  • Move materials and products throughout the warehouse facility.
  • Load and unload trailers or containers efficiently.
  • Perform accurate inventory counts and quality inspections.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
  • Support general production operations as needed.
