At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Sitdown Forklift Operator to work with Expeditors in El Paso. This role is essential for the safe and efficient operation of sitdown forklifts to move, stack, and organize materials within a warehouse environment. You will be responsible for loading and unloading freight, replenishing picking zones, and maintaining accurate inventory counts while adhering to all safety and compliance protocols.

Shift Patterns

  • Monday to Friday, 3:00 PM to 12:00 AM, with weekends as needed.

Pay Rates

  • 15.00 - 16.00 USD hourly

Essential Requirements for Sitdown Forklift Operator

  • Possess at least 1–2 years of continuous experience operating a sitdown forklift in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
  • Maintain a valid OSHA forklift certification or successfully pass the facility’s practical operator evaluation.

Skills and Qualifications for Sitdown Forklift Operator

  • Operate propane or electric sitdown forklifts to transport pallets and finished goods safely throughout the facility.
  • Demonstrate strong spatial awareness to navigate equipment safely in high-traffic warehouse areas.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure consistent compliance with facility safety standards.

Role Responsibilities for Sitdown Forklift Operator

  • Safely operate sitdown forklifts to move and organize warehouse inventory.
  • Load and unload freight from incoming and outgoing shipments.
  • Replenish picking zones to ensure inventory availability.
  • Perform accurate inventory counts and documentation.
  • Adhere strictly to all warehouse safety and compliance protocols.
