GL Material Handler

At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a GL Material Handler to work with a leading logistics company in Northampton. This role is essential for supporting daily warehouse and production operations, ensuring that materials are moved efficiently and inventory is accurate.

Shift Patterns

  • Monday to Friday, 5:00 PM to 1:30 AM.
  • Must be available for overtime when needed.

Pay Rates

  • 18.50 USD hourly

Requirements for GL Material Handler

  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs regularly throughout the shift.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, push, pull, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
  • Ability to accurately count products and maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Basic math and measurement skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse or production environment.
  • Strong commitment to safety, quality, and productivity standards.
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Authorization to work in the United States.

Skills and Qualifications for GL Material Handler

  • Previous warehouse, manufacturing, production, or general labor experience.
  • Experience using RF scanners or warehouse management systems.
  • Forklift, pallet jack, or material handling equipment experience.
  • Inventory counting or quality inspection experience.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Experience loading and unloading trailers or containers.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Dependable and self-motivated with a positive attitude.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Adaptability and flexibility to support different tasks and departments.
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

Role for GL Material Handler

  • Move materials and products throughout the warehouse facility.
  • Load and unload products from trailers or containers efficiently.
  • Perform inventory counts and maintain accurate stock records.
  • Ensure quality standards are met during production and handling processes.
  • Perform general labor tasks to support daily warehouse operations.
